THE TAKEISHI/LODER DUO has performed in Concert and for special events frequently for the past year.

Angela Takeishi is a concert pianist of Japanese ancestry, and the disciple of the great Japanese Master Pianist, Yoshiko Shika. Her first concerts were given before the age of ten, and she now plays both a full concert repertoire and American classic.

Violinist Wendy Loder received her first lessons from her mother, then studied with Charles Meacham, Serban Rusu & James Carter. Wendy attended San Domenico School as part of their “Virtuoso Program” and graduated cum laude from Dominican University. At the age of 17, she was accepted into the Marin Symphony, performing regularly with them until joining the San Francisco Opera Chorus as a singer. Wendy has continued performing as both a violinist & singer. She is the musical director of the Lawrence String Groups, providing ensembles for hundreds of weddings & special events every year. In addition, Wendy has serves as the Music Minister for Trinity Lutheran Church in San Rafael.

Wendy produced and sang her first CD, "Yestertime Songs for Children" a collection of songs that she learned as a young singer, available at cdbaby.com. When not performing as a singer, Wendy can be heard playing her violin on film sound tracks, several radio & T.V. commercials and with numerous symphonies and chamber ensembles around the Bay Area.
